**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are looking for a driven and customer focused Account Manager to join our team based in Altona North, Vic 3018, where you will be responsible for proactively building and managing relationships with our truck and machinery clients.
- This role would suit someone with experience in a similar role or related industry who is looking to take the next step in their career or is looking for a change. This role is a great first step into a career in sales or account management.
- In addition to this you will see yourself:
- Proactively building and managing relationships with our government and council vendors, providing account management of stock to determine the best solution for the sale of their assets, while also meeting or achieving KPIs and set budgets
- Providing pre & post sale assistance across various departments and sales
- Project managing offsite sales & online auctions, pre-sale, post-sale and collections, ensuring assets are booked in and processed
- Working closely with key clients to determine their present and future needs and proposing suitable products, services and upgrades to agreements in order to maintain and grow revenue for the organisation
- Conducting product demonstrations and coordinating the preparation of sales proposals, tenders/bids, contracts and account management plans
- Conducting off site inspections and valuations of trucks, machinery and other industrial type assets for clients
- Collaborating with marketing and directly with buyers to execute marketing for various sales and auctions

- Account & relationship management experience in a related industry, or a willingness to learn
- General knowledge of trucks & machinery (desirable but not essential)
- Outstanding customer service, time management and solutions focused skills
- High level interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to influence at all levels to ensure maximum return
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
