Gardener/Grounds Worker required to work in cemetery in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney

As a cemetery grounds maintenance staff, you will be responsible for:

- Mowing, trimming, and edging the grass around the graves and monuments
- Planting, watering, and pruning flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Cleaning and repairing headstones, plaques, and other memorials
- Removing litter, debris, and weeds from the cemetery grounds
- Following health and safety regulations and respecting the dignity of the deceased and their families

To be eligible for this position, you must have:

- A valid driver's licence
- A minimum of one year of experience in landscaping, gardening, or cemetery maintenance
- A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn
- A respectful and compassionate manner towards the bereaved and the deceased

**The pay rate for this position is $33 per hour.**
