**The Role**
The APS6 Printing Team Lead will lead a small, specialised team to plan, prioritize and manage printing and publishing tasks in order to meet the printing and distribution needs of AGO customers in accordance with Defence standards.

You will be accountable for the accurate completion of print tasks within set timeframes, share your expertise with others and guide and mentor the Reprographics team.

You will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills which you will utilise to communicate, anticipate and respond to AGO customer requirements.

You will provide specialised technical advice to a range of stakeholders and be committed to achieve continuous improvement in printing and publishing activities undertaken in Defence.

**About our Team**
The FGP Reprographics section is responsible for planning and prioritising printing and publishing tasks to meet the printing and distribution needs of stakeholders in accordance with Defence standards. The team prints and publishes high quality, bespoke mapping and printed products to support AGO customers and Defence's tactical, operational and strategic mapping requirements.

The APS 6 Printing Team Lead will:

- Build and sustain effective relationships with team members, colleagues and stakeholders.
- Lead the team, allocate work, resources and tasks; set work area priorities, develop strategies and evaluate business outcomes.
- Advocate for and seek continuous improvement in the team's processes and procedures.
- Tailor your communication style and language according to your audience's level of knowledge, skill and experience.
- Interpret and comply with procedures, legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks.
- Resolve problems using expertise, taking the initiative to identify alternative courses of action.
