**About the team**

Coles’ Technology delivery team is here to guide and coach our project teams as well as product and platform teams around what delivery excellence looks like while also providing governance and assurance over our investment to ensure we are realising value and continuously improving.

**About the role**

Directly reporting to the General Manager - Technology Strategy, Transformation and Architecture, this role is accountable for our overall technology investment and the successful execution against that investment to realise benefits, increase speed and demonstrate value aligned to our group strategy.

As part of the role, you will execute a multi-year program to uplift delivery excellence. You will lead our technology project office and facilitate effective quarterly and monthly planning and progress updates aligned to Objectives & Key Results.

Success in this role is about enabling your team, building a passionate and engaged community of project and delivery professionals and developing deep relationships with key stakeholders.

**About you & your skills**

You will be an experienced leader with a strong background in project management, delivery methodologies, technology and a proven track record of driving excellence in project delivery.

You’ll also ideally have some (but not all) of the following experience:

- Strong understanding of business transformation, digital, technology and change delivery
- Proven track record in enterprise governance mechanisms
- PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management certification.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management or delivery leadership roles, preferably in a technology-focused environment.
- Strong understanding of agile and waterfall methodologies, with the ability to tailor approaches to fit project needs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Experience in managing large-scale, complex technology projects from initiation to delivery.
- Demonstrating experience of executing through others, specifically creating a common vision and influencing peers towards executing against it as part of a broad transformation program
- Proven ability to identify opportunities to leverage technology for greater business efficiency or effectiveness
- Appropriate Graduate / post-graduate qualification/s such as Business Management, MBA. Technology or similar
- Demonstrated ability to bring together experienced, high performing and intelligent people from across multiple functions to deliver to a common goal
