Operations Manager

**What you’ll be doing**

Bridging the gap between our suppliers, distribution centres and stores, our Supply Chain team works with thousands of trusted businesses every day. We work hard to make life easier, safer, and more sustainable across our network, as well as maintain the availability and quality of our products for our customers

As Operations Manager, you will lead and manage Operation teams and oversee support functions of Supply Chain Replenishment systems. You will also effectively manage SLAs with vendors and liaise with business stakeholders with regards to major incidents, changes, and escalations.

Experience in retail and supply chain within an enterprise organisation is highly regarded. You will have previous experience working with large complex systems, projects and cross functional teams and technologies.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Lead and manage Operation teams
- Oversee support functions and stability of Supply Chain systems.
- Manage critical incidents with focus of minimizing business impact and providing updates to the key stakeholders
- Effectively manage the Managed Service with vendors
- Liaise with business stakeholders with regards to major incidents, changes, and escalations.
- Define, plan, and manage incidents, problem management and continuous improvements delivery
- Manage vendors to drive KPI’s and SLA’s
- Manage DRP execution and comply with risks & audits
- Conduct and manage internal and external security/audit reviews.
- Track and Report on key Operations metrics
- Work closely with project managers and release managers to ensure supportable solutions are designed and appropriate support transition takes place
- Manage the business continuity activities and escalation point and coordination of major production incidents
- Contribute to the delivery the IT Strategy and Roadmap
- Development of team capability (technical, functional and leadership)

**Good things you’ll need**
- Proven expertise in production support of large scale, complex mission-critical IT systems
- Experience in managing large teams in a dynamic operational and project environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details
- Experience negotiating commercial outcomes with third party suppliers
- Experience in project management and systems development methodologies
- Ability to lead and manage Support teams comprising multi-disciplined and multi-sourced teams
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members, senior management, and other stakeholders
- Ability to lead and manage a functional area comprising multi-disciplined and multi-sourced teams
- Be suitably available for after hours on-call support incident resolution
- Ability to manage outsourced partners in key delivery roles
- Understanding of project management and systems development methodologies
- Ability to innovate
