St Mary's Thornbury OSHClub is looking for a passionate and dedicated Coordinator to provide engaging services for children in our before and after school care capacity. This beautiful service is located in the inner - city suburb of Melbourne - Thornbury. This is a permanent part-time (28 hours per week) opportunity, assisting in leading a team of Educators at a small sized 45 licence capacity service. This is a role for those looking for a step-up in their career, experienced in working with children, dedicated to take ownership of an existing service and passionate about development of a team.

**Hours are as follows**: Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 9:00 AM (Rise then Shine Program) and 03:00 - 6:00 PM (Stay and Play Program) plus additional admin hours. The middle of your day is free, and you can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too

About the role

Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into
Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents.
Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management.
Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration.

About the school

St Mary's Thornbury OSHClub is an existing small and vibrant service with an average morning attendance of up to 5 children and afternoon attendance of up to 15 children. We have access to a kitchen and often use this space for our cooking experiences. We also have a set up/ pack down shared space available at this service for our OSHClub children to use. We also have really good relationship with the school. It is important to note that this service will be single staffed in the morning and a relatively easy service where the focus is on growing numbers.

Enjoy working with kids
Strong and clear communication
Team player with a desire to become a service leader
Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children
