Warehouse/stores/dispatch - Part Time

We are looking for a motivated store person/dispatcher to join our client's team in Northgate. This is a temp-to-perm position with the primary responsibility of helping to prepare and ship orders. The role is part-time, with a weekly requirement of 20-24 hours and the possibility of additional hours as required. The start date is immediate.
**As a store person/dispatcher, you will be responsible for the following**:
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-maintained work area
- Packing, counting and reporting shortages of incoming stock
- Keeping track of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Securely stacking containers on pallets with stretch wrap, shrink wrap, and straps
- Completing general warehouse tasks
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Unpacking carton and pallet deliveries
- Preparing pallets for delivery to sites/customers
- Heavy lifting, up to 25kg
**We are looking for someone who has the following**:
- Prior experience in a similar role (preferred)
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well with a diverse group of people
- Knowledge of tools required for this position
- Physical agility and dexterity
- Strong organizational skills
- A forklift license and operational experience
- Strong computer skills
