Analyst, Asset Management

We are seeking an Analyst to join our Engineering and Asset Management team. The role will be responsible for commercial and data analysis, process improvement and critical commercial platform development support relating to the Engineering and Asset Maintenance department.

The role is also responsible for managing the asset data quality and data integrity from Melbourne Airport’s capital works program and dynamic Airfield, Terminal and Landside operations that input into Melbourne Airport’s Enterprise Asset Management System that includes Microsoft Dynamics, Work Order Management system, Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Geospatial Software (eGIS).

**Key responsibilities**:
The role's duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

- Drive commercial outcomes through the development of reporting, analysis and business change across the Melbourne Airport business.
- Develop transparency and accountability for the Engineering and Asset Maintenance department through systems and process improvement.
- Perform detailed analysis on performance and trend analysis including recommendations on improved efficiency, with the objective of profit maximisation.
- Review and audit utilities usage against budgets and report variances.
- Liaise with Business Unit management on expenses and budgets to ensure controls are implemented / adhered to.
- Pro-actively provide advice and assistance to managers on general financial, data and operational / commercial issues.
- Support Asset Management System (AMS) improvements with the identification of AMS users and stakeholders, gathering and integrating their requirements into business needs.
- Responsible for keeping the asset register and AMS configuration information up to date.
- Identify system and process gaps, escalate and assist to develop and formalise the issue of AMS procedural instructions to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and maintenance service providers.
- Support the different business units with the provision of any requested information regarding maintenance work activities
- Support with AMS configurations with the scheduling and setup of preventive maintenance works and digitization of inspection forms.
- Working with the Digital Engineering Team to keep the GIS and BIM systems up to date with AMS data.
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting / Commerce related degree desirable but not essential
- Proven ability to interpret data and information
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability in developing productive relationships, managing and driving change
