- As an IT Asset Analyst you’ll work alongside Product Owners, IT Managers and Procurement to streamline the software and asset purchasing at Xero, while balancing our users needs with that of the Xero business. You will understand software and hardware spend budgeted to the Enterprise Platforms cost centre and work alongside Finance to ensure due diligence is followed with every purchase.
- You will work collaboratively with the IT support teams, Procurement and the wider Xero business to ensure that the correct systems and processes are in place for all IT assets and software to be properly managed.

You are articulate, succinct and pragmatic in the description of requirements and solutions, and you take a human approach to change.
- You’ll be outcome obsessed, and be able to step back and view a system as a whole to understand where optimisation efforts will have the greatest benefit. You’ll also be able to use this knowledge to make clear recommendations on the prioritisation of spend, and assist stakeholders to plan and operate accordingly.

- Work closely with Finance to understand software purchases outside of the process eg. PCard and spend.
- Mitigate risks associated with licensing non-compliance. Identify the need for, and establish, ongoing reporting cadences to the IT Leadership Team, Finance and Procurement to ensure they can make informed decisions.
