**About the Centre**

Benalla Aquatic Centre is proudly run by the YMCA on behalf of the Benalla Rural City Council. The Centre has 4 large pools including a 25m Pool, Program Pool, Toddler Pool (with a slide) and 50m Outdoor Swimming Pool. We also have a Gym and Group Fitness studio in which offers a wide range of equipment for all patrons and staff to enjoy.

**About the Role**

As a Duty Manager at the Benalla Aquatic Centre, you will have delegated authority of the Centre Manager, and will maintain a broad knowledge of centre programs and services whilst at the same time managing a range of centre functions whilst on shift which may include;
- Maintaining a focus on ‘Big Picture’ issues Centre wide
- Maintain a working knowledge and understanding of Centre’s Emergency Action Plan
- Working autonomously as well as being an active leader

This is a casual position and the hourly rate is $39.59 + super.

**About You**

**Essential Qualifications**
- Aquatic Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid

**Other Desired Qualifications or Knowledge**
- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Legislation is an advantage
- Previous experience in a similar facility in a supervisory role is desirable
