**About the role**

SU is seeking a community networker, leader and activator to oversee and grow our ministries in the Melbourne West metropolitan area. The successful applicant be well networked with and respected by churches and denominations in the region; have demonstrated experience in building new ministries, activating volunteer leaders, and supporting and empowering volunteers to build effective and sustainable ministry teams. Based in Western Metro Melbourne, this role is three days a week
- Committed to growing ministry with children, young people and families, and community development
- Effective in building church partnerships, and equipping and mobilising volunteers and leaders
- An energetic communicator, with a minimum of 3 years team leadership experience, preferably within a not-for-profit environment combined with tertiary qualifications
- A team player who is also able to work autonomously
- A highly effective trainer in Christian work with children, young people, and families
