Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) is a consortium comprising of industry leading Tier 1 organisations - John Holland, Service Stream and WSP. Sydney Water has partnered with D4C to deliver design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services across their southern region - from Bondi to Gerringong, and out to Georges River.

D4C is seeking a Commercial Lead to join our dynamic,diverse and high performing team in an exciting time of growth. We need your skills and expertise to help Sydney Water deliver a $34 billion dollar program over the next 10 years to build, maintain and protect the future of our iconic water resources.

**Primary Purpose**

D4C is seeking a seasoned Commercial Manager with a passion for delivering world class infrastructure.

We are looking for a dynamic leader to oversee the Commercial management of the Program, supporting delivery of Construction, Maintenance and FM and liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders - including Client & Subcontractors.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Leading the team to best support the business delivering up to $300M worth of D&C projects and maintenance services per year
- Negotiating/drafting/executing subcontracts, deeds, agreements, leases, compound licenses, subcontract extensions, and any commercially related documents relevant to the Program
- Risk asssessment of head contracts and subcontracts
- Management of disputes and resolution outcome
- Attendance at commercial workshops/seminars/meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure commercial alignment
- Supporting the senior leadership team and broader business with commercial advice
- Procurement management and ensuring sub-contracts and supply contracts are administered in accordance with procurement guidelines and contract requirements
- Providing coaching and training to team and delivery partners periodically
- Building relationships with key stakeholders including internal and external Legal Counsel

**Essential**
- Degree in Business, Quantity Surveying, Law or other commercially relevant field with minimum of 5 years experience as a Commercial Manager.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience in a collaborative framework environment
- Working knowledge of applicable industry standard forms of contract, with NEC suite experience/knowledge
- Pre and post contract knowledge and experience.
- Competent using different systems and softwares in BAU
- Experienced managing and developing high performance teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience within the water/wastewater utility industry in a tier one environment is desirable.
- Current Drivers License.
