**About the Company**
Our large NSW State Government client provides a diverse range of essential services to reduce criminal activity and enhance protection of the community.

**About the Role**
They are currently seeking a highly experienced, empathetic and professional Client Services officer to join their team in Parramatta with the opportunity to work remotely from home. This is an estimated 2month temp assignment, with a strong potential to extend.

Working within the Victims Services Business Unit, you will be required to provide a wide range of administrative and client services to victims of crimes.

In this rewarding role, you will be undertaking the following duties
- Deliver professional and empathetic frontline customer service
- Answer enquiries within a timely and accurate manner
- Escalate complex enquiries to Senior team members
- Provide information to clients about services and support available including entitlements, financial support, counselling and the process involved in making a claim
- Records and database management, ensuring high integrity, accuracy and confidentiality
- Build rapport and trust with victims through effective listening and empathetic communication
- Prepare matters for hearings
- Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships facilitating engagement, partnerships, collaboration and contribution of ideas
- Ensure compliance with Government guidelines including the Charter of Victims Rights, Departments Code of Conduct, Work Health and Safety, Child Protection and EEO.

**About You**
To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following
- Demonstrated Client Service, Social Work or Community Support experience
- Previous experience working with vulnerable clients or challenging behaviours
- Proven experience within a highly sensitive/complex environment
- Justice or Public Sector experience desirable
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, professional and resilient with an empathetic nature
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Reliable remote internet access with the ability to work remotely from home
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
