**About the Role**
Due to continual growth, an exciting career opportunity has opened for a driven and results focused individual to manage and lead all operations, supply chain and distribution functions across our Ingleburn, Sydney warehouse and distribution facility.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this full-time position requires an experienced General Manager with a hands-on approach and advanced leadership skills to manage the day-to-day operations of the branch, including but not limited to:
- Implement, monitor, and review operational strategies to improve productivity, revenue growth, premium service levels, and customer growth and satisfaction.
- Drive continuous improvement to ensure all branch key stakeholders are managing processes and outcomes to achieve positive EBITDA results.
- Work closely with warehouse, transport departments, and service providers/contractors to maintain regulatory standards in line with OH&S legislation, HACCP requirements, WorkSafe regulations, and quality assurance.
- Continually leverage best practices to drive outstanding business growth and efficiency in line with company strategies and goals.
- Prepare and maintain budgets, labour level forecasts, and business plans for the branch to ensure growth and positive financial results.
- Monitor and review rostering in line with forecasted labour requirements and budgeted operational wage costs.
- Provide and promote exceptional service standards and new behaviours to promote a customer focused culture, whilst driving high-performance expectations.
**About You**
As a results-oriented, high achiever, you will display excellent leadership qualities with an ongoing focus on growth and profitability.As a leader, you enjoy inspiring, coaching, and developing people for success.You will have extensive experience in change management, people management, project management, supply chain, operations, and business management.You will be business and computer-savvy with a solid understanding of financials, P&L and budgets.You will work closely with your key department leaders and the executive management team to drive solutions, ensure DIFOT to customers and achieve financial growth and success for the Branch.
**To be considered for this position, you would ideally have**:
- Degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or logistics (highly regarded).
A proven background in the foodservice, FMCG, or similar operations landscape.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills allowing the individual to influence and lead diverse teams of business stakeholders and external advisers.
- Proficient in MS Word, and PowerPoint, and advanced in excel.
- Operational and functional expertise across all areas of sales, inventory, finance, marketing, purchasing, warehousing, and distribution.
- Solid management experience - minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role.
- Exceptional leadership, people, and change management skills and leads by example.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven business acumen and demonstrated understanding of accounting principles.
- Ability to deliver successful outcomes despite changing environments.
- A comprehensive understanding of HACCP and OH&S compliance.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
