Our **State Equipment Manager (NSW)**assists their team to implement business strategies, systems and processes that enables the delivery of superior service standards, innovation and a continuous improvement culture.

**Duties and responsibilities include**:

- Grow the equipment business, improving market share and profitability
- Provide leadership and support to the Equipment team
- Influence the GPC network to deliver an outstanding customer experience and generate leads
- Maintain and enforce a safety first work environment
- Develop the equipment business into a combined generalist and specialist function, building the profile of the team while supporting the Store Network.
- Drive and increase sales
- Develop and enhance the professional development of the team
- Participate in trade shows in metro and regional areas and travel as required

**The successful individual will**:

- Be strategically minded and business outcome focussed
- Be a passionate leader with a customer excellence outlook
- Have leadership experience of a commercial sales team at a state or national level
- Demonstrate change agent qualities
- Show a positive demeanour with an open communication style
- Hold a valid driver’s licence
- Relevant industry experience
