Marion, Australia I'm Able Support Network Full time

I'm Able Support Network is seeking multiple Disability Support Workers to join a team in empowering children with autistism to be part of the community and supporting them to reach their individual developmental milestones, reporting to the Team Leader and Primary Carer.

When supporting the children with domestic assistance, community support or personal care, your care is client-focused and based on meeting their key developmental goals.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Are passionate and diligent about making a difference to the lives of others.
- Able to think on your feet and remain calm when confronted with challenging or difficult situations or behaviours.
- Have strong time-management skills.
- Willing to further skills by way of attendance at training sessions when required.
- Well-spoken/written English and Word/Excel proficient - capable of meeting reporting requirements by way of comprehensive Personal Care Records.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Understand that weekends, school holidays and public holiday support is a requirement of the role.
- Current Driver's License (Minimum P2+) and your own motor vehicle with child seat anchors. (Car seats provided).
- DCSI Child-Related, Vulnerable Person, Disability Services Clearances.
- RAN (Reporting Abuse and Neglect) Certificate
- NDIS Worker Check
- NDIS Induction & Orientation Modules
- Covid Infection Control Training
- First Aid with CPR

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
