We are currently recruiting for an experienced **Customer Interface Officer** based at Pinkenba. This role will work within our Customer Interface Team and acts as the first point of contact for Cement Australia’s Bulk Customers to ensure orders are made & met in a timely manner.
At Cement Australia, our CIT Officers **_(Customer Services Officer/Customer Service Representative)_** play a critical role in making sure we delight our customers. You do everything you can to make sure the right product is delivered safely and on time to our customers, providing the best experience possible for all stakeholders.
**About the role**:
You will support the “on the day” execution of the delivery plan. Problem solving is what you do best and you’ll use those skills to quickly adapt plans, negotiate, make changes and update stakeholders when issues arise. This is no simple undertaking and you’ll be challenged as you multi-task and prioritise under pressure, with timing on deliveries often critical to our customers' business needs.
- Ensure a seamless high standard of service to our customers
- Investigate, resolve and respond to customer queries in a timely manner
- Provide proactive communication regarding deliveries and transportation issues
- Support other business areas with queries regarding product availability and invoicing
The roster for this role is:
- Monday
- Friday, 9am - 5pm
- 1 x Saturday a month, 6am - 10am
**About you**:
- Experience in transport or logistics, ideally within the cement or concreting industry
- Excellent problem solving skills and written and verbal communication
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise under time pressures
- Strong team focus and ability to build relationships with people quickly
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ideally experience with an ERP system
