**Finance /Payroll Officer**

**About The role**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced finance officer with accounts receivable and payroll experience to join our dynamic finance team in Birtinya.

The role will involve:

- Complete timely and accurate processing of weekly payroll
- Timely response to employee payroll enquiries
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Follow-up of aged receivables
- Debt monitoring
- Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist with Financial Invoice processing of NDIS (Including plan management) & Home care packages.
- Preparation of correspondence, reports, maintenance of files.
- Assist other finance team members as needed.

**about you**:

- Positive “can do” attitude.
- 2+ years’ experience in finance dealing with accounts receivable and payroll
- Strong working knowledge of Xero
- Experience with Employment Hero Payroll or other payroll systems.
- Experience in the aged care sector is desirable but not necessary
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications are highly regarded
- Attention to detail is a must
- Excellent problem solving skills will be necessary
- Time management and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi task
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
