Additional information:

- This role is Permanent, Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight.

- As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts. You also have the availability to work alternating weekend shifts (both Saturday and Sunday).

**About this work area**

As Market Area Store Fulfilment Operations Manager your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Ensure high-performing daily operations and maintain an efficient distribution network across all IKEA stores within the assigned geographical market area. This includes standard operating procedures, planning, execution, follow-up, and continuous improvement of operations and the goods-flow process. Conduct relevant negotiations and ensure compliance with IWAY and legal standards, focusing on quality and a customer-centric, collaborative mindset at all touchpoints, while minimising costs.
- Drive excellence in operations and quality within Store Fulfilment to exceed customer expectations, provide a seamless shopping experience, and ensure high-quality customer interactions.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Market Area Store Fulfilment organisation and respective store functions in a matrix relationship. Foster an inspiring and motivating environment where people and talent are continuously developed, including long-term competence building, succession planning, and promoting diversity and inclusion.
- Ensure Store Fulfilment is recognised as an equal business partner at the market level, fully integrated into related processes, and collaborating seamlessly with all relevant stakeholders.
- Secure seamless cooperation of Store Fulfilment with a customer-centric, collaborative, end-to-end, and process-oriented mindset within the market, towards Group Functions, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Drive efficiency and implement improvements across all stores in the market as part of a Multichannel Network, in cooperation with relevant stakeholders (e.g., Group Operations, Market Fulfilment Development and Network, Market Retail).

As Market Area Store Fulfilment Operations Manager you have:

- Proven ability in planning, executing and continuously improving daily operations, by identifying and acting on opportunities as they appear.
- Proficiency in working methods that ensure operational excellence in Fulfilment Operations, with a strong ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and bring others on the journey.
- Previous experience demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to coach and develop diverse teams.
- Strong analytical skills to drive efficiency and implement improvements with an innate ability to manage resources effectively within a multichannel network.
- Competence in resource planning aligned with potential sales scenarios, forecasts, and fulfilment flow allocation.

To be considered for this role, experience in the following is essential:

- 3-5 years of experience as a Senior Manager within the Fulfilment function or equivalent supply chain or logistics role.
- Robust experience in and in-depth understanding of logistics & supply chain management in a dynamic omnichannel retail environment.
- Excellent communication skills, and ability to inspire, coach and develop people and secure succession to bring together a high performing team that can contribute to business goals.
