As the General Manager - Intermodal, you will be responsible for leading the safe and efficient performance of our intermodal operations. You’ll drive operational excellence, embed a culture of safety and accountability, and with a growth mindset, lead the expansion of our network across other Australian states.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the growth and optimisation of our intermodal operations across Sydney, Melbourne, and regional NSW with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute strategies to establish and scale intermodal operations in other Australian states.
- Champion a safety-first culture across all sites, ensuring adherence to HSE legislation and internal protocols.
- Deliver commercial and service outcomes that align with customer expectations and Visy’s values.
- Partner with Transport, Commercial, and Site Operations teams to ensure end-to-end delivery efficiency.
- Oversee site leadership teams, creating a high-performing, engaged workforce.
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and P&L performance across the division.
- Lead and support transformation initiatives, technology enablement, and national alignment of processes.

**About You**:

- Minimum 10 years’ experience in senior leadership roles within transport, logistics, or intermodal operations.
- Proven track record in leading multi-site teams and scaling operations nationally.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and experience embedding safe systems of work.
- Extensive experience in operational leadership, strategic planning, and P&L accountability.
- Collaborative and influential leader who builds high-performing teams and drives accountability.
- Passionate about growth innovation, operational excellence, and delivering value to customers.
