**YOUR ROLE**

Joining IAG’s Legal and Company Secretariat Team you will conduct the Proper Officer function and provide paralegal support. You will manage the end-to-end process in relation to subpoenas, statements of claim and the like served on IAG and liaise with internal departments, external legal providers and relevant third parties including courts, tribunals, regulators, government agencies and external law firms as required.

This role is a permanent opportunity, ideally based in Sydney.

**ABOUT YOU**
- You will have strong academic results and be undertaking your Juris Doctor or Combined Law studies (minimum third year).
- You are a great communicator both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent attention to detail
- You must be organised, resourceful, pick things up quickly and have the ability to multitask.
- Please note this is a 22.5hrs a week opportunity and would ideally suit someone currently studying.
- Whilst previous experience as a paralegal or intern will be well regarded, it is not essential.
- You must be available to start immediately and work a minimum of 22.5 hours per week. Additional days may be available at different periods, such as holiday periods.
