Test Lead

As part of the Test Engineering Department the Lead Test Engineer will take ownership for the delivery of product testing. The Lead will ensure the test environment and resources are in place to meet project deliveries.
The Lead is responsible for task planning & execution to project milestones. As a member of the Test Engineering team, you will drive the development and rollout of Seeing Machine's Test Process and Strategy through active development in these areas, mentoring junior engineers and OTJ training.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.

- Test resource task planning, tracking and delivery in line with project timelines.
- Planning work considering the task difficulties and following project priorities.
- Ownership and delivery of Project WBS, Timing Plans, Test Plans.
- Technical delivery ownership for product test strategy and supporting test environment.
- Interfacing with customer and key stakeholders on project test activities.
- Delivery ownership for system & software test specifications & test methods.
- Supporting Test Engineering Interview Process.
- Providing technical expertise on test into the engineering community.

About you
Mandatory
- Tertiary qualifications in computer science, software/electronics/systems engineering, or demonstrated equivalent industry experience.
- 4+ years commercial experience in System and Software testing including test case design, development, and execution.
- Ability to promote/develop a strong team environment.
- Commercial experience owning & delivering test projects for embedded products.
- Demonstrated programming experience Python or C++/C.

Desirable
- ISTQB Training & Certification.
- Commercial experience with ASPICE or CMMI compliance.
- Commercial experience with ISO26262 compliance or similar standards governing regulatory software development.
- Commercial experience using automated test frameworks, COTS Software & hardware.
- Commercial experience in Automotive, Transport, Aviation or Medical industry.
