Community Services and Youth Coordinator

Oberon, Australia Oberon Council Full time

This is a full time position based on 35 hours per week under the current Local Government (State) Award 2020. The salary is a rate base of Grade 10, Step 0 $1212.57 per week to Grade 10, Step 4 $1406.58 per week.

To be successful you will need:
Essential
1. Minimum of a Certificate IV in Business, Community Services or related.
2. Minimum 2 years relevant work experience, preferably in a local government context.
3. Demonstrated ability to establish, implement and evaluate community programs and engage proactively with community key stakeholders.
4. Demonstrated experience working with financial data, and ability to monitor budget for events and other initiatives.
5. Demonstrated excellent customer service skills including dealing with difficult customers.
6. Demonstrated excellent time management skills
7. Demonstrate positive interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communications including the ability to provide timely and accurate reports.
8. Demonstrated high level Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and Outlook

Desirable
1. Previous experience within Community Services and Youth Related areas.
2. Class C Drivers licence
