Horticulturalist Level Iv

Spruced is leading the way in Christmas tree production in Australia and our nurseries supply most of the relatively young industry country-wide. An all-rounder horticulturalist role and a nurseryperson role are on offer assisting our small team to expand operations, streamline processes and achieve production targets. We are growing a range of highly specialised conifers that can be difficult to cultivate and require a keen eye for detail and the ability to problem solve creatively. The business is growing rapidly and there are many long term opportunities in this fast-growing new sector where demand far exceeds supply.

We are seeking a horticulturalist and/or nurseryperson (Award Level IV / V) to join our small team. These role will support daily activities associated with Christmas tree production across our farm and nursery sites in the Bathurst and Oberon region.

Essential Qualifications and Experience.
- Car licence and own transport
- Tertiary qualifications in Horticulture or related discipline or industry experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in Nursery, Horticultural or related industry
- Tractor/machinery operation and maintenance experience

Desirable Qualifications and Experience (or willingness to obtain).
- Chemical Card
- First Aid Certification
- LR, MR, HR licence
- Chainsaw ticket
- Forklift ticket
- 4WD experience
- Adept at MS office suite. Data management

Salary will be determined based on experience. Opportunities to progress exist and the right person will hbe given the opportunity to take on a management role on one of our nursery sites in the long term.

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
