**The Role**

We're looking for a Technical Writer to join a secure, high-trust ICT delivery program, responsible for translating complex technical content into clear, accessible documentation. This role will support engineers, solution architects, and cybersecurity specialists to produce high-quality artefacts across system design, implementation, and accreditation.

This Canberra-based role is ideal for someone who thrives on clarity, structure, and collaboration in security-focused environments.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain documentation across system designs, procedures, and operational workflows.
- Produce high-quality artefacts to support security accreditation, onboarding, and transition-to-service.
- Work closely with SMEs to extract and structure complex technical information.
- Write and edit content for both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Ensure documentation aligns with compliance, governance, and information security standards.
- Contribute to document control processes and versioning practices across delivery teams.
- Support the preparation of reports, guides, and briefing materials as required.

**What You'll Need**
- Demonstrated experience producing technical documentation within ICT environments.
- Ability to work with engineers, architects, and cybersecurity teams to extract meaningful content.
- Strong writing, editing, and formatting skills with a keen eye for clarity and structure.
- Understanding of documentation needs in secure and/or government environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, SharePoint, and document control systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Australian Citizenship with an active **NV1 security clearance**.
