**The Role**:
The Head of Professional Services is responsible for delivering the agreed strategy, policy and customer experience within specialisation, bringing the CVP to life across Business & Private Bank. You will be accountable for the growth (clients, revenue and balance sheet) of this specialisation while maintaining a proactive risk culture.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Own the full P&L responsibility for industry specialisation in Business Metro
- Manage and grow the portfolio of the specialisation in terms of both quality and volume aligned to segment growth ambition in Business Metro
- Provide thought leadership, insights, leads, guidance to bankers across Business and & Private Bank (B&PB)
- Translate the strategy of the specialisation into functional effectiveness across B&PB
- Operationalising strategy into practice to deliver through leveraging of product and insight partners, investment funding (by exception where required) to maintain differentiation of NAB as the leading choice in the market for this segment across B&PB
- Accountable for specialisation delivering superior customer outcomes, advocacy, and financial returns
- Support the capability development for specialisation across B&PB
- Manage the segmentation strategy, working closely with other segment strategy owners, other NAB stakeholders and drive specialisation outcomes across other B&PB divisions
- Ensure specialisation operates within approved Risk Settings and Transactional Guidelines
- You will be a key influencer and market presence in the specialisation, creating and managing new and existing partnerships
- Accountable for optimising workforce engagement and productivity to drive business outcomes
- Accountable for driving risk culture and disciplines across specialisation and more broadly across the specialisation

**What you will bring**:

- Minimum of 15 years previous experience within financial experience in business, private, corporate, credit or specialised business, or equivalent professional experience in a related career
- Leadership of a team with functional and professional diversity
- Track record of extensive experience operating effectively and delivering consistent results in a large complex business
- Strategy execution experience including P+L accountability
- Experience with the specialisation or evidence of a deep understanding of the sector. Credibility in the marketplace will be essential for specialisation to be recognised and this credibility will be critical enabler to growth the of the specialisation
- Comprehensive understanding of business/comm practices, Business Lending products and services, with significant emphasis on sales, lending, credit assessment and control experience
