In this dynamic environment, the PRV team is excitedly seeking its newest member to join us. We offer an outstanding opportunity for an Engineering Delivery Manager (EDM) to bring their expertise and passion to oversee solution engineering activities at a specified level (solution or solution element). This pivotal role focuses on the technical management aspects, ensuring the effective delivery of our engineering solutions. **Responsibilities**: - Defines the system development cycle and defines the process, practices and tools (PP&T) applicable to the product / project based on the BL / Domain PP&T reference system and tailored based on project specific constraints - Ensures global consistency of the engineering process, practices and tools, organises the co-engineering then approves lower level solution elements’ or components’ engineering plans including those flown down to subcontractors and partners - Identifies the engineering skills needed to ensure Bid / Project / Product delivery - Develop and maintain the schedule in line with the WBS for all Engineering activities - Ensures the Engineering Performance initiatives of its Domain are properly deployed in their Bid / Project / Product - Guarantees commitments to the project including satisfaction of stakeholder’s requirements within constraints provided by the Architect and the Project Design Authority (PDA) - Optimises technical work by organising system engineering reviews and participating to those of lower level solution elements from design to validation and acceptance - Tracks competitiveness KPI, performs root cause analysis of problems and conduct associated corrective actions (Performance initiatives) at their level - Contributes to the Quality Assurance activities by ensuring visibility on the engineering work packages for the Bid / Project / Product QAM **Requirements**: - Sophisticated experience in a technical/engineering role in a related technical domain - Proven track record in managing and coordinating of projects in complex environments, ideally underpinned by System Engineering and vehicle development background - Experience in Configuration Management - High level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to lead and inspire multi-disciplinary teams - Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering - Flexibility to travel interstate and internationally **As part of our commitment, we offer**: - Salary packaging includes healthcare and bonus payments - Recognised leader in reservist employee support - Flexible Work Arrangement Options - Leading leave policies - Growth and Development opportunities - Study Assistance - Access to a network of the best people (A Noble Prize winner on our staff list) - Gym Membership (Fitness passport) - ThalesFlex - flexibility working is our everyday - Family Support through our partnership with Parents at Work - Employee Share Purchase Plans - Employee discounts with a number of affiliates (Travel, Car hire, Tech) - And much more **Good to Know** A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
