**About the Company**

A large NSW government organisation is looking for a Social Media Communications Officer to work within a great team environment. This is located in Sydney CBD / work from home arrangements on 3 month contract.

**About the Role**
- Develop social communications and marketing assets and materials as required, aligning to corporate messaging, branding and engagement activities, to enhance the organisation's reputation and achieve business objectives.
- Ensure all marketing and social communications materials align with NSW Government advertising guidelines and rules.
- Provide advice and support to internal and external stakeholders on a range of marketing and social communication strategies, to work towards achieving best practice and delivering business objectives.
- Contribute towards the production of communication and marketing collateral to support internal and external communications and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
- Support in the delivery of the events and sponsorship strategies and associated programs of work as required, to ensure business objectives continue to enhance the organisation's reputation.
- Work collaboratively with other communications specialists across the organisation to ensure communications are aligned and to identify opportunities for innovative and engaging content and tools that can be shared across teams.
- Provide a range of support to the broader Corporate Affairs team to support in achieving team deliverables, as necessary.
- Manage in-bound complaints and queries received via social media channels to ensure they are appropriately resolved where possible and work with relevant business area to source information.

**About You**
- Tertiary level qualifications or relevant communications experience.
- Highly-developed oral and writing communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to deal with all levels of stakeholders
