**About the opportunity**

The energy corporation of NSW is seeking a Manager Technical Services to co-ordinate technical activities for successful and optimal integration of Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) infrastructure to deliver secure and reliable energy supply to electricity customers.

The role will establish and maintain links with inter-agency and external organisations to ensure smooth co-ordination of the rollout of REZ infrastructure.

This role is your opportunity to be involved in the delivery of NSW’s Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, one of Australia’s most significant energy reforms that will transform NSW’s electricity system over the next two decades. This is once-in-a-generation opportunity to play a co-ordinating role in the development of Renewable Energy Zones.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will have strong technical skills to lead a team of contractors and consultants, coordinating and implementing solutions that are strategically aligned to REZ program objectives and optimise investment outcomes.

You will showcase your stakeholder engagement skills engaging effectively with industry and sector partners, building and leveraging professional relationships and external expertise to develop successful collaborations.

**Key knowledge and experience**
- Qualifications in engineering
- Experience in advisory roles relating to development of renewable energy

The NSW Government’s Electricity Strategy and Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap set out a plan to deliver the state’s first 5 Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) in the Central-West Orana, New England, South-West, Hunter-Central Coast and Illawarra regions. This builds on the NSW Transmission Infrastructure Strategy and supports the implementation of the Australian Energy Market Operator’s Integrated System Plan.
