**Position - HR Advisor**

**Location - Sydney or Melbourne**

**Contract - 3 - 6 Months**

**Job description**:
Provide guidance, advice, coaching and support to staff through various payroll, HRIS system, and policy matters. The key to success in this role is mature and empathetic and a self-starter person who is looking to expand their generalist experience in Human Resources.

**Key Responsibilities**:- Triage, oversee and manage employee grievances through required investigations
- processes with respective providers, ensuring all parties are informed and outcomes managed as appropriate- Assist the wider HR Team by providing consistent, credible, and timely first
- point general advice for all IAG employees and people leaders seeking support in relation
- to HR enquiries including IAG’s Enterprise Agreement and People Policies.- Contribute to project work as identified and drive the success and solutions across the
- team and People & Culture- Ensure compliance with relevant IAG people policies and external laws and regulations

**Skills & Experience**- Telephone-based customer service role supporting HR needs of internal employees.- Relevant experience in a generalist HR role- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a calm and mature approach- Strong time management and prioritisation skills- Tertiary qualification/s in Human Resources (desirable)- Previous experience working within the insurance or financial services industry preferred- Previous experience working with HR Systems such as Success+, Service Now and SAP would be advantageous.
