**ABOUT THE ROLES (**White Card trainer & Assessor)**:

- We have contractor positions with the possibility of growing to a full-time role
- The courses will be delivered face-to-face or online via ZOOM/MS TEAMS and combination of both.

**ABOUT YOU**

To be considered for the roles, you will possess:

- academic teaching experience in vet, including planning and designing training/assessment materials and student engagement and assessment
- ability to further develop teaching expertise, including the use of technology for teaching and learning
- ability to update student records and mark assessments in a timely manner and in accordance with aims’ policy and procedure
- experience and commitment to work in a cross-cultural environment and support students from diverse backgrounds commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining industry and vet currency
- an understanding of the national vet standards for RTO’s (2015, Version 2.3, March 2024).

**THE CANDIDATE MUST**

(I) Hold Certificate of TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education.

Or
- TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, with the following units:

- TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills or its successor or
- TAELLN401A Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills and one of the following

and
- TAEASS502 Design and develop assessment tools or its successor or
- TAEASS502A Design and develop assessment tools or
- TAEASS502B Design and develop assessment tools.

**(II) White Card trainer / Assessor**

a) Hold Statement of Attainment and accreditation of formal Qualification of HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting) or higher (e.g. HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid), HLTAID011 Provide first and HLTAID009 CPR

b) have a minimum of 3 months of work experiences as a first aid trainer and assessor

**(III) First Aid trainer / Assessor**

a) Hold Statement of Attainment and accreditation of formal Qualification of HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting) or higher (e.g. HLTAID014 Provide Advanced First Aid), HLTAID011 Provide first and HLTAID009 CPR

b) have a minimum of 3 months of work experiences as a first aid trainer and assessor

(IV) Hold a current ‘Working with Children Card’

(V) You must have an ABN (Australian Business Number).

**DESIRABLE**:
**You have the following skills & experience to be successful in this role**:
(VI) have a minimum of two years of current academic experience with an RTO or in the VET sector

(VII) have current working knowledge in health-related fields.
