Buller Sports, the leading rental and retail operator in the Mt Buller/Mansfield region, is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Rental & Retail Store Manager for the upcoming 2025 winter season.

**Positions Available**:
We have an opening for a Rental & Retail Store Manager at various locations, including Mansfield, Merrjig, Mirimbah, and Mt Buller. On-mountain positions come with shared accommodation, and off-mountain employees enjoy the flexibility to secure better accommodation along with competitive pay rates, staff bus access, car passes, and the option to stay on the mountain during scheduled days off.

**Your Responsibilities**:
As a Rental & Retail Store Manager, your role involves leading the day-to-day operations of your assigned store, collaborating with the Rental & Retail Manager, and ensuring a positive customer experience. Your responsibilities include:

- Providing a superior customer experience for all Mt Buller guests
- Contributing energy and enthusiasm to a positive team environment
- Assisting guests with the safe and correct set-up of their rental equipment
- Educating guests on the care and use of their equipment
- Selling and promoting a wide range of mountain products
- Supporting the management team in the implementation of promotions, visuals, and store maintenance
- Identifying and anticipating the needs of guests while efficiently and tactfully resolving any problems
- Complying with all company, store, and area operational, OHS, environmental policies, and procedures
- Assisting with maintaining equipment conditions and stock levels for both rental and retail products
- Representing Mt Buller, Buller Ski Lifts, and the Buller Way

**Management Responsibilities**:
As a Store Manager, you will have direct management responsibilities, including:

- Leading front-line staff and store supervisor/s
- Ensuring all employees complete necessary Resort Training and follow SOP guidelines
- Setting and maintaining a positive attitude for staff to follow
- Ensuring employees conform to the Altitude Buller Sports Grooming and Appearance Standards
- Training and assisting staff members with the safe and correct usage of tools and equipment
- Continuing the training and development of staff members throughout the season
- Providing guidance and coaching to staff members
- Addressing staff complaints, resolving problems, and administering disciplinary action when necessary
- Reviewing staff performance and providing feedback regularly
- Managing and reviewing financial store performance with the Rental & Retail Manager

**What You Bring**:

- Proven experience in the rental, retail, or guest service industry

- Experience with POS systems
- The ability to handle pressure and multitasking
- Top-tier communication and teamwork skills
- High regard for personal appearance and presentation
- The ability to work varying schedules, including day, evening, and weekend shifts

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Minimum 4 years of Rentals or Retail experience
- Minimum 2 years of general supervisor experience
- Equipment Certifications - Annually or as required
