About the Role:
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of safety, performance, and resource management within our operational areas. You will lead a team to optimize profitability and business efficiency while maintaining a strong customer focus. Your role is critical in planning and coordinating daily activities, ensuring team accountability, and driving continuous process improvements.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

- Proactively lead and support the team by setting high work standards and holding team members accountable for their performance.
- Efficiently direct and deploy labor and equipment to meet operational and customer requirements.
- Monitor labor costs, ensuring budget compliance and optimized productivity.
- Address performance and conduct issues, manage absenteeism, and support team members’ leave requirements.
- Oversee the proper handling, documentation, and loading of freight, maximizing vehicle utilization.
- Plan and coordinate safe loading of Dangerous Goods and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage freight movement scanning using ILFT and ensure secure loads according to guidelines.
- Promptly report and manage any instances of damage to freight or equipment.
- Maintain open lines of communication with customer service regarding delivery times and service standards.
- Represent the company professionally within the local community, demonstrating our shared values and maintaining our professional image.
- Foster sound relationships with site colleagues to ensure account retention and maximize business development opportunities.

About You:
We are looking for a confident and self-motivated individual with supervisory experience in the logistics or transport industry. You thrive in fast-paced environments and excel at prioritizing tasks. Your strong communication skills and relationship-building abilities will be essential for delivering seamless service.
