**What we do**

**Return-It** gives customers a
**10-cent** refund for each can, plastic or glass bottle returned at either
**Return-It Depots** or Return-It Express Pods across the
**ACT.**

An amazing opportunity exists for a highly motivated & proactive
**Site Supervisor **to work at our
**Mitchell **depot. The role will be a rostered
**5 day week (38hrs)** including one weekend day.

**What Will You do?**

Customers from far and wide will be visiting the depot to receive a refund for their glass and plastic products. Your role will be to ensure you assist customers by collecting, carrying and sorting their product then providing them with the refund. This will involve standing for long periods of time and
**heavy lifting**.

**Daily Tasks**:

- Manage a team of 8-10 direct reports;
- Sort product accurately and place in designated areas
- Transport items to the relevant storage area. This may be via forklift or manual handling.
- Ensure customers welcomed and assisted with their recycling products to inspire return customers
- Sort all recycling products in a timely and effective manner
- Ensuring cash float is balanced at the end of each day.
- Ensure staff are adhering to all Health and Safety Procedures and highlighting any hazards/faults/risks to Management.
- Overseeing staff rosters.
- Identify problem areas and establish and new procedures to improve efficiency.
- Ensure that staff have the skills and training to work safely and efficiently.

**About you**
You have experience supervising a team, this could be in Retail, Hospitality or Warehousing industry.
- You are passionate about Recycling and improving our environment.
- You have a great 'can do' attitude with customer service at the forefront of all interactions
- **Forklift license is desirable.**:

- A current driver’s license is **essential.**
