**About the role**
- You’ll be joining the largest public health system in Australia and contribute to a world-class health system in NSW.

As a Senior Tobacco Regulatory Control Officer, you will work autonomously and lead a team of Tobacco Regulatory Control Officers to undertake enforcement activities under the Public Health (Tobacco) Act 2008, Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Act 1966, and Medicines, Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Act 2022 across various NSW local health districts.

Health Manager level 3, starting salary from $1271,50 - $144,444 plus Super, with a 38-hour work week.

**What you'll be doing**- Lead and manage regional teams delivering tobacco and e-cigarette compliance operations.- Conduct field inspections and monitor compliance with tobacco and e-cigarette legislation-
- Assist in preparing documentation, ministerial briefings, and correspondence.- Contribute to strategic compliance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and community partners.

**About you**- Strong analytical mindset, willingness to learn how to interpret legislation and compliance data. Excellent interpersonal skills to navigate confrontational or high-pressure interactions with professionalism and composure Ability to work flexibly across diverse environments and locations.- Proven capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a team.- Current NSW driver’s licence and willingness to travel, including overnight stays.- Certificate IV in Government Investigations or equivalent experience is desirable- Proven experience in a regulatory environment
