Job Description

As a Team Leader at Inghams in Osborne Park, you will play a pivotal role in the 520 - PRIMARY PROCESSING department. This Permanent - Full Time position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and support a team in achieving operational excellence. Your main responsibilities will include:

- Leading and managing a team of employees to ensure efficient and effective operations within the primary processing department.
- Providing guidance, training, and mentorship to team members to foster their professional growth and development.
- Overseeing day-to-day activities to maintain high standards of productivity, quality, and safety.
- Collaborating with other departments to streamline processes and enhance overall workflow.
- Monitoring performance metrics and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Contributing to a positive work culture that prioritises teamwork, integrity, and accountability.

Desired Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a food processing environment
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve production targets and quality standards
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within a food processing facility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with team members and management
- Sound knowledge of primary processing operations and equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
