We’re seeking an Operations Manager who’s not just a logistics expert but a people developer, visionary, and tech enthusiast. Your mission: relocate, set up, and grow our New South Wales facility—not by starting from scratch but by evolving and scaling what’s already in place.

**The Role**
Your sharp analytical abilities and relationship-building skills will shape how new and existing business grows. Anticipating how decisions are made, you will proactively explore and uncover the business needs of CHILL's key clients. By understanding how our suite of services and product offerings can drive their growth, you’ll also ensure operational efficiency within our business is maximised.

**The Strategy**
The position involves collaborating closely with the senior leadership team to support our growth strategy. **What You'll Do**:
- **Client Satisfaction**: Guarantee quality control and exceptional service, delighting clients with every order.
- **Team Leadership**: Foster a cohesive, high-performance culture by placing the right people in the right roles and mentoring them for success.
- **Growth and Scalability**: Business development. Driving initiatives to evolve and expand the facility, aligning with company growth objectives.
- **Safety and Compliance**: Ensure a safe and compliant workplace by maintaining health and safety standards.
- **Process Optimisation**: Implement improvements that enhance operational efficiency, quality, and productivity KPI's.
- **Budget and Resource Management**: Actively manage budgets and resource allocation to meet operational and financial goals.
**Requirements**:
- 7-10 Years experience in operational management, preferably with exposure in the logistics sector
- A customer-centric mindset focused on exceptional service
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams while adapting to change
- Expertise in operational efficiency and process improvement
- Experience in business development and sales
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels, ensuring alignment and seamless operations
- Implement strategic vision with a strong focus on execution
- Technologically savvy with a keen interest in logistics innovation
- Familiarity with cold chain logistics and HACCP principles is an advantage
- Proficiency in TMS & WMS, Google Suite and Google Sheets or Excel.
- A degree in Business Management, Operations Management, or a related field experience is preferred.
- A forklift licence would be desirable.
