**Company Description**

SavourLife is a family-owned, Australian company inspired by a love for dogs and a desire to make a difference. We make natural, Australian-made food and treats for dogs and donate 50% of our profits to pet rescue organisations; helping them save and re-home abandoned dogs.

**About this role**

**Basic duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
**MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Oversee all freight related needs and ensure efficient and cost controlled distribution.
- Manage carrier relationship, rates negotiation/contracts and conduct cost analysis.
- Manage retailers to resolve any issues or provide clarification relating to their purchase order, shipment and/or account.
- Be responsible for the company’s CRM and Inventory Management Systems ensuring they are up to date, monitor for data errors, troubleshoot and resolve issues with IT partners.
- Reconcile warehouse and freight invoices, analyse fees, and create reports to identify inconsistencies and brainstorm cost reduction strategies.
- Manage and process orders for internal customers (Marketing and Sales)
- Assist the Senior Operations Manager to oversee and maintain SavourLife’s management systems
- Assist the Senior Operations Manager to suggest, develop and implement proactive solutions and cost-savings measures.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**

**Experience**:

- At least 3 years prior experience in a similar or relevant role

**Skills**
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills (understanding of formulas and functions, working knowledge of charts, building formulas to manipulate text and dates etc).
- Demonstrated analytical, organisational and negotiation skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to quickly interpret, analyse and action to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional and courteous phone manner.
- Appropriate handling of sensitive information.
- Ability to absorb new processes and systems, demonstrated initiative and ability to work with mínimal supervision, whilst taking ownership of own workload to meet deadlines.
- Ability to pro-actively handle and manage priorities and work autonomously to complete tasks.

**Must haves**:

- Must be friendly and share SavourLife’s values and love of dogs. Dogs are in the office every day.
- A willingness to learn and desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.
- This is a hands-on role, so it requires someone that is self-motivated, highly organised with the ability to multi-task and to work autonomously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in the Brookvale office daily
