We require an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our enthusiastic and dedicated Leisure and Lifestyle team for a short relief period. The Lifestyle Team is responsible for providing a quality standard of person centered care to all residents (including those with dementia and challenging behaviours). Every resident is to be treated as an individual, with the utmost respect and dignity. Work focus is to achieve optimal independence for the resident, to support the residents’ emotional needs and enhance quality of life.

To succeed in this busy and enjoyable work environment you will need to have organised work methods, well developed interpersonal and administration skills.

**Essential**:

- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
- Experience managing Dementia Specific Residents behaviours
- Willingness to obtain Bus/Light Rigid license
- Ability to communicate effectively with elderly and disabled people
- Ability to devise and implement activity programs
- Understanding of WHS principles
- Basic computer skills
- Current CPR knowledge
- Certificate IV Leisure & Health or equivalent
