About the Role

In this hands-on role, you'll support our residents with daily living activities in a way that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

Your work will include:

  • Supporting residents with personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, continence care)
  • Assisting with meals and supporting residents who need help eating
  • Observing and reporting health or behaviour changes to clinical staff
  • Helping with safe transferring and mobility
  • Encouraging independence in a calm, respectful environment
  • Participating in basic wound care and medication support (if certified)
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided
  • Promoting resident safety, choice, and wellbeing at all times

About You

You are a naturally caring person with a calm, steady presence. You take pride in helping people live with dignity and independence and thrive as part of a team.

Required:

Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent

Experience in aged care or a similar role

Strong communication skills

Physical capability to meet the role requirements safely

Basic computer/tablet literacy

Desirable:

Certification in medication administration

Current First Aid & CPR

Experience supporting residents with dementia or disability

Additional health or aged care qualifications
