**Support Worker - Glenarbon, QLD (Urgent Start)**

**Location**: Glenarbon, QLD (Travel is essential for applicants located outside the Glenarbon area - mileage incentive provided)

**Urgent Hiring - Immediate Start Required**

**About the Role**

Compass Connect Support Services is urgently seeking a qualified and compassionate Support Worker to assist an NDIS participant in Glenarbon, QLD.

This is a long-term, structured role with consistent weekly shifts (Monday-Thursday, 28 hours per week). You will provide personal care, daily living support, and community access while ensuring a person-centred, respectful, and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care and assist with daily living activities
- Facilitate community access and recreational participation
- Encourage independence while maintaining wellbeing and safety
- Support structured routines and provide companionship
- Complete accurate progress notes, incident reports, and documentation
- Comply with NDIS Practice Standards, Code of Conduct, and QLD legislation

**Schedule & Travel**
- Shifts: Monday to Thursday, 28 hours per week
- Travel: Mileage incentive provided for travel from Toowoomba or surrounding areas
- Vehicle: Reliable, fully insured vehicle required
- Accommodation: Paid short-term accommodation near Glenarbon may be arranged if needed

**What We’re Looking For**

We want a reliable, empathetic, and professional Support Worker who:

- Has prior experience supporting NDIS participants
- Can work independently and follow structured support plans
- Demonstrates strong communication, patience, and professionalism
- Understands and complies with NDIS and QLD regulations

**Mandatory Requirements**
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Blue Card - Paid Employee (Working with Children Check)
- Current First Aid & CPR (HLTAID011 or equivalent)
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- Reliable vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (minimum 2 doses)
- Certificate III/IV in Disability, Individual Support, or Community Services
- Experience in rural or remote support work
- Knowledge of person-centred and trauma-informed practice
- Work Rights
