**The Role**
This role is an exciting opportunity to flex your organisation and problem-solving muscles in helping our multi-disciplinary change teams strategise, plan, track and report on the delivery of engagement, training and communication services to diverse stakeholder groups in federal and state governments, private industry and the general public. Based in a team that has a blend of APS and contracted staff, the role is essential in delivering change management support to large government ICT projects with over 500,000 system users based right across the country. The work is fast paced, varied, and fulfilling, and you will see the tangible outcomes of your work by helping the Department improve service delivery to people in the apprenticeships and vocational education and training sectors.
The Change Co-Ordinator works in partnership with the change lead to organise the team’s outputs. Working like a scrum master supporting a project, the Change Co-Ordinator is responsible for facilitating team delivery by aligning team outputs with organisational goals, setting and tracking teamwork plans, reporting on progress against change goals, managing contracts and working with senior leaders to align strategy and delivery.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Capture, co-ordinate, organise and drive the delivery of change management work to support a major public-facing ICT project through goal setting, tasking, activity tracking and prioritisation of effort.
- Work in partnership with the Change Lead (contractor) to build a shared vision and strategy for change management work to support a Tier 1 ICT project.
- Foster strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across the department, government and users of the systems.
- Quality assuring work outputs of the team.
- Reporting on team progress against set targets to the Director and other executive leaders.
- Managing support staff outputs and providing leadership and guidance to more junior team members.
- Be a key part of refining and improving the processes and workflow of the team.
