At one of IHG's leading lifestyle properties, and the first Hotel Indigo to be launched in Australia, we’re looking for an **Operations Manager** who knows how to bring the best out of people, maintain exceptional standards and maximise financial returns.

With a hands-on approach, the Operations Manager will lead the day to day operations and overall revenue generation of the hotel, and will be responsible for the running of the Food & Beverage, Rooms Division and Maintenance departments.

Our hotel has an established and unique Food & Beverage offering, so the Operations Manager will bring creativity and collaboration to continue growing our neighbourhood story.

**A little taste of your day-to-day**:
Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be:

- Partnering with the General Manager on the Hotel’s performance to key metrics - while also stepping up in their absence
- Driving revenue generation for the overall hotel, with a focus on a creative and inspiring Food & Beverage strategy
- Forming and sustaining strategic external alliances to support the Hotel’s positioning
- Actively promoting the Hotel and brand through community and professional involvement
- Assisting with budgeting and financial management, including monitoring expenses and revenue
- Developing the team and improving their performance through coaching and feedback, and creating performance and development goals for colleagues
- Creating and fostering an engaged and productive work environment that focuses on teamwork, continuous improvement and a passion for providing memorable and inspired experiences

**What we need from you**:

- Previous experience in a hotel management capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous head of department experience in a hotel of similar size and complexity preferred
- Strong Food & Beverage management background
- Proven capability to build, motivate and lead an effective team that delivers results and is highly engaged
- Great communication skills, passion for delivering results, and developing people and self
- Ability to manage complex relationships and key stakeholders
- Comprehension of Hotel systems and revenue management principles
- Required Certifications - South Australia Responsible Persons Badge, nationally accredited Responsible Service of Alcohol certification, current First Aid qualification
- A full Australian Drivers Licence
- The unrestricted right to work in Australia
