Our client, who leading global supplier of utility, construction, and mining equipment, with operations, including sales, service, support and manufacturing, throughout the world, are currently looking for an experienced** Purchasing/Supply Chain Officer **to join their team.

This is a 6mth temp/contract position working full time hours Monday to Friday with possible extension. Flexibility with start and finish times if required. **Hourly rate of $35p/h + super.**

**Your duties will include but not limited to**:

- Supporting role of the production team managing the production back order and supply of parts to the Facility
- Management of the inventory from Distribution centre (DC) to respective location in a timely manner to ensure no production delay’s
- Review of production jobs with missing parts and arrange orders for the respective missing items to ensure smooth build efficiencies.
- Co-ordinate deliveries with the OEM’s/ Local suppliers on parts deliveries to support production facility.
- Provide routine updates to the business on the status of the parts supply to the production orders.
- Escalate any issues relating to the supply of parts through the supply chain.
