Holland Park West, Australia Kids Play Occupational Therapy Full time

Looking for a Receptionist and Administrator with ability to complete basic accounts to join our thriving Allied Health Practice. Kids Play Occupational Therapy and SpeechNet Speech Pathology work together across our 2 clinics at Holland Park West and Springfield Lakes. Our Team includes 10 therapists, accounts team and therapy aide. Directors Katy and Sandra run the clinics.

Necessary Skills:

- able to provide a welcoming reception service for families from a diverse range of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds and to children with a range of disabilities and behaviours;
- complete accounts recievable and follow up on unpaid accounts
- able to work within a busy environment around children with a disability;
- phone reception for a busy clinic of 10 Therapists across two clinics;
- administration support to Therapists and running of the business;
- able to take payments using Hicaps machine and reconcile receipts, working knowledge of health insurance and Medicare;
- basic resource management of the Holland Park clinic;
- requires basic computer knowledge, able to learn to use SmartSoft Practice Management Software;
- capable of functioning semi autonomously, and prioritising their own work within established policies, guidelines and procedures;
- able to work either independently and as part of the team;
- able to prioritise work load and communicate clearly and in a timely manner with clients and therapists;
- responsible for work performed with a substantial level of accountability;
- possesses administrative skills and problem solving abilities;
- possesses well developed communication, interpersonal and arithmetic skills;
Wages are based on the MA000027 Health Professionals and Support Services Award. Support Services Level 7. The successful Applicant able to negotiate employment as Permanent Part Time (for 3-4 days a week, $27.46 an hour), or Permanent Casual (3 - 4 days a week, $34.33 an hour).

Applicants with experience within an Allied Health Practice will be looked upon favourably.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

During COVID Lockdowns the clinics convert to Telehealth. COVID Management Plan including cleaning protocols are in place.
