About the role

We are currently seeking a values-driven and proactive Administration Assistant to provide efficient clerical and administration support to the Corps with the purpose of enhancing the services to the community and supporting the achievement of the TSA mission.

You will successfully
- Manage all general administration, and clerical activities within Corps including filing (electronic and hard copy), minute taking, mail, data entry, general correspondence, SAMIS & Emergency Relief data entry and documentation and other generalist administration activities
- Provide customer service to internal and external visitors through reception related activities including all phone, face to face and online enquiries
- Manage contact and referrals with internal and external agencies and services
- Administer financial processes such as paying expenses related to the operations of the Corps, Family Store, prepare paperwork, reconcial cash and fuel vouchers, reconcile corporate credit card
- Liaise with Family Store Managers and the Bank regarding irregularities and rectify issues as soon as possible

You will have
- Certificate IV in Business Administration or relevant experience
- At least 2 years administration experience working with some level of autonomy
- Previous experience with financial clerical tasks/basic accounting
- Experience within a community or NFP setting would be well regarded
- Sound presentation and communication skills (both oral and written) to be able to interact positively with a variety of people.
- A willingness to undergo a National Police Check
