Sydney-based hospitality group, Liquid & Larder, are searching for an experienced charismatic** Bar Manager** to lead the team at** Bistecca.**

**About The Venue**:
The Bistecca experience begins by pulling up a stool or a candle-lit table in the old-world, wood-panelled cocktail bar, stocked with amaro from across the world, including our Four Pillars classic Negroni. Moving into the intimate 50-seat restaurant, you’re greeted by refined Tuscan hospitality. From the table, take in our famous Bistecca butcher’s block and open hearth, which fills the dining room with timeless warmth. The space then flows to a bottle-lined enoteca (wine room) available for private dining.

Bistecca is fast paced, though our guests are met with a warm, timeless and nostalgic feeling, that is sincere and welcoming. We want them to feel comfortable, and still have a sense of the raw, rustic, and a little bit of cheek

**About The Role**:
To thrive in this role you will need an exceptional attention to detail, as Bar Manager you will ensure impeccable standards in both the quality of drinks served and the service provided. Your ultimate goal is to go above and beyond, exceeding guest expectations and leaving them thoroughly satisfied. As Bar Manager you are driven by a relentless pursuit for excellence, aiming to set the benchmark for being best in class within the industry. While mentoring your team to be the next leaders.

**Your Day to Day**:

- Leading and supporting your team during service, ensuring consistency and quality at every touchpoint
- Managing the delivery of food and beverage to guests in line with venue standards
- Overseeing daily cash-up and reconciliation when required
- Championing venue and company goals, values, and standards
- Ensuring staff follow policies and maintain a high level of professionalism
- Communicating effectively across departments to keep everything running smoothly
- Maintaining compliance with all legal and licensing requirements
- Monitoring venue budgets and managing cost of goods sold (COGS)
- Maintaining cocktail specs and consistency, and ensuring menus are accurate and stock is available
- Building strong relationships with guests
- Contributing actively to a supportive, respectful, and driven team culture
- Stepping in where needed to help deliver a seamless, high-performing venue operation

**About You**:

- Proven experience in a within a premium or hatted venue
- A confident and calm demeanour
- A genuine passion for hospitality and being of service
- High attention to detail and a genuine passion for guest interaction
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Availability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and evenings
