Your part in our Blue Care team

Residential Home Placement Officer | Blue Care l Caboolture Hub

This role will ensure high customer satisfaction and engagement with BlueCare through delivering a person-centred and consistent service approach.

This role is responsible to promptly respond to service requests, provide information, assist customers in understanding suitable care options and support customers through the admissions process into their preferred residential aged care facility.

What makes a difference for us?- Determine customer needs and assist to understand suitable care options (and/or alternative options where required), supported by the use of BlueCare admission policies and processes.-
- Maintain effective communication and problem-solving skills, including dealing with clients in complex and emotive situations. This will include providing complex information about eligibility and funding entitlements.-
- Maintain up to date and detailed knowledge of the Residential Aged Care homes within service area and work closely with Residential Service Manager to organise site tours and to progress admissions. BlueCare is proudly part of the UnitingCare Family, we’d love you to be too
