**Your primary responsibilities will include**:

- Creating a safe and nurturing environment where young people feel secure and cared for.
- Fostering a sense of identity and belonging among the youth you support.
- Facilitating the development of positive and trusting connections with family, friends, and the community.
- Encouraging and enabling young people to reach their full potential through learning and personal growth.
- Promoting healthy lifestyle choices and facilitating access to healthcare services.
- Supporting the development of strong social and interpersonal skills.

**In addition to these core responsibilities, you will also be expected to**:

- Maintain a clean and safe living environment within the residential care home.
- Manage day-to-day tasks related to the operation of the residential care home.
- Complete verbal and written reports as required.
- Sleepover shifts are often a requirement of this role

** NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED ** we are committed to assisting you to become an impactful and effective Youth Worker.

- Need to be available to work minimum 3 - 4 shifts per week encompassing weekends, evening and night shifts as required.
- **Location**: Northside Brisbane - Caboolture/ Narangba Area
- Must be prepared to enrol or are studying a recognised qual to be a youth worker under departmental guidelines

**Job Type**: Casual

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Penalty rates

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)
- Paid Blue Card (preferred)

- Australia (preferred)
