**Surgical Coordinator (up to $38ph + super - Wickham Terrace)**

**Responsibilities**:

- Supporting reception staff in clinic/phone overflow by answering phone in line with TEHC policy
- Supporting doctor in clinic in regard to all surgical matters
- Communicating with patients in regard to surgery or associated surgery inquiries and preparing and discussing financial consents with patients.
- Preparing surgical paperwork/charts for patients and maintaining surgical conversion spreadsheets and following up patient surgical inquiries via electronic means or otherwise
- Scheduling publicly outsourced patient surgeries and surgical lists (Surgery Connect, West Moreton, Metro South) and associated paperwork (discharge letters/billing)

**Skills and Experience Requirements**:

- Excellent usage of leadership roles (medical clinic preferable)
- Advanced working knowledge of medical practice software (Genie preferable)
- Ability to make accurate Surgical Bookings and proper record keeping practices
- Strong understanding in the use of Medicare / DVA processes at a specialist level
- Knowledge in using VOIP Telephone systems and Eclipse
